Meet LLuminari. We are a network of America's best-known doctors and health experts who have come together to share our collective knowledge and inspire people to live healthier lives. Our focus is on health and wellness, rather than disease management. We work as a team bringing together perspectives to form a more complete understanding of health – across medical disciplines, across schools of thought – from eastern to western medicine, and always integrating body, mind and spirit.
At LLuminari, we believe we can best lead change by reaching out to women because they make the majority of decisions on health but our message is inclusive of everyone – regardless of race or gender. Our goal is to help you become an expert on your health so we can age healthier as we live longer.
We launched our initiative through O, The Oprah Magazine and Oprah.com, creating a healthy lifestyle plan called "Here's to Your Health," that appeared each month in the magazine and on the website. Join us as we continue to build a trusted voice on health through: quality broadcast programming, educational conferences, seminars, publications, health management tools and strong grassroots efforts. If each of us make personal, positive changes, together we can become a healthier nation.
